A quick food trick I've been doing lately is a quick boil chicken. I buy chicken thigh skin and all( if you have an obese cat buy skinless) cut up with dollar tree kitchen scissors, boil some water, and pour it on top of the chicken in a heat proof glass bowl. Let it cool and add dry cat food. It cooks the chicken and skin and the dry cat food absorbs the water juice and get your cats plenty of liquid. Plus they have real protein going into their body. I give them the bonem to let them clean their teeth on. Its not cooked all the way, so it wont be to dry and brittle for them to eat. Remember cooked bones may split to easily and cause internal damage. The marrow is really good for them too. I do add vitamins to this but wait till it cools a bit. Hot water can distory them to quickly. for more information on vitamins, check out Dr. Pitcairn's Natural Health fo
Still looking for a place for the mobile clinic to come to the hilltop. One place fell through and trying to find some place that can let the animals be housed in for a few hours after they are spade and neutered. Soon as we get something solid , will post to let everyone know about it.
