Ive been really trying to concentrate on TNR work over the past three months. Been working on an area for over a year and really trying to get everyone there done before winter. One day I was trapping and caught this older kitten. I had a gut feeling that it was not a feral. So when I took him in to make sure he did not have a chip. No chip and no neuter so I figure he was a drop off or someones around there. The people at SOS loved him and said he was so sweet and friendly that day he was fixed and asked me if I was really going to put him back. Of course I'm full and to find a home for a black cat and now one with an ear tip will be hard. So I opted to put him back. Well when I tried he would just follow me and would not leave my side. I went to every neighbor and even a vet to see if he could be anyones around there. Everyone said no but they would feed him out side with the rest of the ferals. So I tried to leave him and he kept following me. I put him in garage that the feral cats stay and ran to my car. Open up the car door and low and behold this cat jumps into my car and start kneading my seat and meow's. At that moment I could not leave him. He is the sweetest kitty ever and I really want him to have the great home too. He will follow you around and loves to be held. Also loves to cuddle. Albert is such a sweet cat that you don't even notice is tipped ear. Please visit www.apurrfectstart.org to see about adopting him. |
